Find Care & Housing
It sounds, if you live with Mom, that you may be needing respite care placement in facility. Call around and see what facilities in your area provide this. We don't really know the current circumstances here of you and your Mom, whether she needs 24/7 care or what. You can also call organizations such as Visiting Angels and other care agencies and see what they provide. They often have minimums such as 4 hours a day three days a week or some such, and years ago (4) when I called for my brother they were about 35.00 an hour.
Without more information that's about all I can suggest for checking in your area and sure wish you good luck.

Many facilities, in mom's case Assisted Living, will offer Respite care.
Contact a few in your area and do a tour. Find out what needs to be done for Respite. I am sure her doctor will have to fill out health forms. She may need a TB skin test (blood test is an option as well) Some areas require a 2 stage TB test.
Your other option would be to have caregivers come in and stay with her.
If she is safe to stay alone it might be that you would need someone for 8 to 12 hours a day and if a sibling can do weekends that would save some $$. If a sibling could stay over night that would also help.
