Has had multiple falls but no broken bones. says, "i'll be careful when asked why she isn't using her walker". Physical therapist says no walking unassisted, neurologist says same, but I catch her doing it all the time. Then she acts like she is being picked on for being reminded and says, "its not my fault if I can't remember". No dementia diagnosis, age is 87. Living with me because we have harsh winters and she can no longer drive herself due to severe osteoarthritis of the the shoulder, but says she will when"she gets better"
He uses it to go down the driveway to get the mail which he tosses into the basket... he even uses it to carry the trash bag to the curb, it gets to ride on the seat :)
Of course my Mom didn't want Dad outside with that walker, what would the neighbor's think.... well, I bet the neighbors were thinking "it's about time".
