I am seeing a red flag alert here. I am not clear on who has the dementia. Either way get Mom away from him. It does not sound good. My MIL committed suicide due to an alcoholic with dementia husband.

Help momma, call crimes against seniors in your county. Do it now. In all states there are 24 hour hot lines. You can get her help immediately. How old is your mother? He's a different person when he's sober. Does that really matter? Most all drunken abusers are different Sober. Is it your mother or him that has the ddementia? Not quite clear on that. Regardless, MAKE THAT CALL AND PROTECT YOUR MOTHER! my heart goes out to you. These situations are just so horrible. Good luck and please let us know how it turns out. Lisa
