I heard you can get paid to take care of an aging parent, but I've not been able to find that to be true.


Does anyone get paid and how did you go about it?

Check with your state Medicaid office. Check with your Area Agency on Aging to see if they know of local resources. Most caregivers for the elderly are paid by their parents from their funds if they have the money.
