My mother had a stroke about a year ago and is 96 years old in a nursing facility. She has recovered about 85% to where she can walk with her walker. She has been diagnosed with Dementia. We cut back to Monday and Friday to get her laundry, which she insists we do and not the nursing home. She started requesting donuts on Friday to hold her for the weekend, because she doesn't like the food on the weekend. Now she is requesting us to bring her meals from restaurants on the weekend. I don't want to argue with her, but that is a little too much, I think.
And if you can't or don't want to see her on the weekends, you can always have the food delivered as pretty much every restaurant has some kind of delivery option.
