I moved into my mothers house to help take care of my mother's finances since she has never had to deal with this type of activity. My sister is the trustee of part of the estate and had POA for medical. I was down in Florida with her to search for a new residence by her request and went into a cardiac arrest issue. She was down there for over a month in a half. My sister cut off all finances that I had intertwined with my mother the day after she was intabated for 15 days and then in a rehab facility since yesterday. She cut off all contact from me and also shut her phone off. She is making allegations that she has no information as to what, when, or why. I feel she is going after guardianship because she has mentioned her fathers legacy which was step father for longer than my sister has been alive. She had mentioned she needed me to help her with guardianship before I moved to help and I refused. Now my mother is being diagnosed with Alcohol related dementia which I will say she is exactly the same as she was prior to her incident. Can I petition the courts for a second opinion before the guardianship proceedings which I haven't seen the notice of this. She also just issued me a eviction notice which puts me in a homeless situation due to my mothers request to wait to get a job because a month after moving in and turning down General Manger jobs out of state to help her with our mother I found out I had congestive heart failure myself. She requested me to wait and get my heart issue better since she wanted to move to Florida. My sister had not idea this was happening and I feel this is why she decided to go this route.

I have no suggestions, but I have a toxic sister that would do horrible things for self gratification. I’m so sorry. I’m following along to see anyone else’s response.
