My husband has misappropriated my personal trust fund and I need advice on this matter. I cannot access this trust money that was left to me by my father for my old age because my husband won’t allow it. I cannot hire an advisor without him getting angry. I am desperate need of advice. Also, my trustee refuses to help me and says he knows nothing about finance. I’m stuck.

Sounds like this is a verbal abuse issue, he cannot stop you from accessing anything that is your business, he cannot stop you from hiring an advisor. You sound afraid of him, this is not good.

Unfortunately, it is all up to you to do what is necessary to protect your inheritance.

Time to hire an attorney to protect you from any further mis-appropriation of funds.

I wish you the best.

Was this a special needs trust in which your father designated an amount to be kept safe both FROM you and FOR you, by appointing a trustee to manage the trust?

If so, you should see a Trust and Estate attorney with the proof of malfeasance of your Trustee and your husband in collusion.

Good luck.

If you have proof that he's misappropriated funds (and not just an opinion or a "feeling") then you go online and look up a certified elder law attorney (CELA) near you and secretly call this professional. If you need someone to distract your husband while you do this, you can enlist a friend or neighbor. Do it while he's sleeping, whatever. Again, you will need the trust info. Better yet is to contact the lawyer who helped create the Trust, if this person is still practicing and local to you. You must tell whoever you hire that the trustee is not being helpful, either.
