I got a email from corporate payroll services stating that I’ve changed my direct deposit information and I’ve never heard of this company.! What can I do because I think my employer is stealing my money

You tell them you got an email that you weren't sure of and wanted to make sure it was legit.

You should have gone to your employer first and asked if they had changed payroll providers because you got a suspicious email from a company you do not know.

Do you allow direct deposit of your check? Did you give your employer your bank info so they could deposit to your acct? Did you request your employer change the acct info? What did the payroll company tell you? You are leaving out a lot of information so hard to answer your question.

You had a right to follow up with the company since they emailed you. Its a safety thing all companies do. I just hope you did not use the email address or phone # they providedbin case it was a scam. But IMO, you should have talked to ur employer first.

This may just be an error on the part of the payroll company. Or a scam. Don't give any info thru an email. Ask your employer if they use this payroll company. If so, have your employer call them and find out if the Company has the right banking info. If so, they need to try again. Still a problem, you need to call the bank.

Maybe employer has switched companies and your info got entered incorrectly. Its just a matter of making sure your info is good. Your bank maybe the problem too.
