What are the general hourly costs for an elder care attorney in the Houston, TX area? My siblings and I need to obtain some legal advice, but we are not sure financially how much it might cost.

I paid $350 per hour. But, everything I needed to know that was specific to Mom I learned in 1/2 hour.

Estimate $250-$500 per hour. Make sure you get one that is certified.

TXDallas, the hourly rate can vary from one law firm to another.

Usually large firms tend to charge more per hour, compared to an one person office. I went with a large firm as I had a lot of legal Elder Law documents and Trust to have done. I figure if my Attorney should retire or leave the practice, then another Attorney in the firm could step in. Plus my Attorney had para-legals which she would direct to do the paperwork at a cost much less then her hourly rate.
