In-Home Care Overview: Senior Helpers of Boulder

Senior Helpers is a nationwide organization that was founded in 2001 and was launched in Metro Denver/Boulder and Northern Colorado in 2007 to help seniors, disabled, and special needs adults live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes.

Senior Helpers’ team of professional staff provides dependable and affordable care from 1-hour per visit to overnight and 24/7 live-in care.

The company specializes in assisting individuals who need help with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, ambulation, healthy eating, medication compliance, accompaniment to medical appointments, running errands, companionship/socialization, and various household services.

We provide specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia, brain injuries, behavioral health conditions, and certain neurological disorders.

Senior Helpers holds “Leader in Dementia Care” certification from the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado in 2012 and 2013 and was honored as “Provider of the Year” by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ALS Association for the company’s work with individuals diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Senior Helpers provides care for individuals living in their own private residences as well as individuals in independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. The company offers support for individuals in-between doctors, home health, and hospice visits, and can be instrumental in ensuring compliance with medical treatment plans and reducing unnecessary hospital visits. Senior Helpers is licensed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and is bonded and insured.
